Have this fitted but having an issue, valves open but after a while the valves revert to auto setting (back to stock) while driving
I then have to go back into app and open again, anyone else having this problem? |

Are you using the Bluetooth OBD2 adapter? I'm using that and sometimes it happens to me. And same, I have to open up the app again and it'll be fine. Though it doesn't bother me too much.

Is there one Bluetooth/wifi OBD that I could buy if I wanted to use both apps (Bimmerlink/code)?
Or do you have to buy one for Bluetooth and one for wifi broadcast?

I purchased this but really not impressed at all. For those with apple CarPlay there are connection issues as both need wifi to function. Apple CarPlay will typically take over the connection and disconnect the wifi obd adapter.

I have the same issue, too. I wonder if I just keep the app up on the screen it'll fix the problem.

I contacted the app developer who told me that there is a timeout function in the ECU so the flaps will revert to auto after a while so you need to keep reconnecting. I wish I'd known this before I bought it as it's not the most convenient. I wonder why they can't add the function to bimmercode to just program them open permanently?

Bimmerlink let's you open/close calves, turn off ASD, etc. Code let's you do exactly that....code. Haven't used that though.
