Stoplock Pro

Got myself a stoplock pro but first attempts lead to me struggling to fit it / remove without sounding the horn several times, don't know if it's my clumsiness or whether I should be going for the pro elite for my steering wheel (see pic).

Anyone else with same wheel can confirm the pro is the best fit and I'll get the hang of it with practice?

I use the stoplock elite Pro. No issues and is the best one out

Did the swap work out? Looking to get one as the Disk lock everyone is talking about seems to be cumbersome and damages the leather.

I take it there is no issue with the paddle shifters?

Elite pro fits fine, plenty of space. I'll take a picture when I get chance - rests against steering wheel spoke rather than paddle or indicator.

The disklock doesn't damage the leather at all if you use the protective sock.
And IMO (as well as multiple reviews), it's the best out there.
I particularly like the fact it completely covers the whole wheel. Thefts of steering wheels do happen.
But I do appreciate ETTO.

That's exactly how I attach mine - you do need to be careful though that the device doesn't rest on the indicator stalk, as that can inadvertently turn on the parking lights!

I have the same wheel and the Stoplok Pro, and it works really well once you get the hang of it - you do need to park the vehicle with the steering wheel in just the right position, but that's easy enough once you've done it a couple of times

I had the elite pro. Was to be and clunked all over the place. Took it back. I'd get the pro if I was to buy again

You're not meant to be driving with the lock attached to it.

I don't rate them personally. I have a Disklock, which I believe to be a better option. ETTO though.

I have an F30 with the same steering wheel and I have the same problem. Waking up the neighborhood with my horn when I try to use the Stoplock Pro. Also wondering if I am that clumsy or if there is a certain technique to it?
