DINAN exhaust - Worth it ?

I bought my F80 M3 recently

Love this car !

Engine sound / exhaust is not so bad as the internet says, but could be improved

I have heard many exhaust options and MPE is the best according to my taste, but we are talking about $ 5,000.00

DINAN rear exhaust only is about $ 2,400.00 -- Does anybody have real life experience with it ?

Does it sound louder and nicer than stock or almost not noticeable ?

I want to improve the exhaust sound a bit, but do not want a too noisy car...

Axle back doesn't change the sound much. You need downpipe if you want louder sound. You can pick up used MPE on the forum for 3k-3500 easily. Dinan no good.

If you like the sound of Dinan then yes it is worth it.

My personal favorite is REMUS

It's my daily driver, downpipe is loud and does not sound nice on F8x cars

MPE as exhaust only I like it very much, but $$

I bought my REMUS cat back (non res) with you for my M2 and perfect ! But this car is like a toy for me

My F80 M3 is my daily driver, I want something quieter

MPE is very nice as an exhaust, if REMUS axle back only is it louder than stock exhaust ?

REMUS axle back + AA midpipe quieter than full REMUS ?

REMUS axle back + AA midpipe is quieter than the full non-res REMUS

REMUS axle back is even quieter

If you are worried about the exhaust being too loud, get REMUS axle back
If you want more sound, you can always add the Active Autowerke midpipe

Would agree 100%.

You lose nothing by going Remus axle back and if you want more volume adding an AA midpipe.

It is NOT worth it

I had it on my car with AA midpipe. Took it off after an hour - not a significant difference Over ZCP. Look elsewhere

Yup. That was the case with me.
Tomorrow at noon my video will drop which details my experience with it including installation, sound clips and comparison to zcp

I think it sounds better IMO. Not much louder but has a deeper tone and a little cleaner , subtle change tho nothing dramatic. I'm going to replace the stock secondary cats with magnaflow and will likely be happy with this combo knowing it's not obnoxiously loud but ok with the volume even at the track

I ordered one when I picked up the car and it took 2 weeks to arrive. So I had a good sense of the stock exhaust during that timeframe.

I personally think it sounds great. No other work done to the exhaust system for me yet, but it is definitely deeper and louder. But not obnoxious.

I have the Dinan exhaust and I like it. The sound is nice and is actually quieter than stock with the valves open before you delete the mid cat. Sounds great once you open up the rest of the exhaust.

Dinan axle back with an X-pipe sounds amazing.

Had that setup installed a while back and I love it. Very little to no rasp (only a slight bit when revving towards the high RPM range, none under load). Throaty, Crisp... It's like the perfect amount of loud. Nothing overbearing but loud enough to turn some heads.

I have the Dinan exhaust and think it's really a good exhaust for the money. Deeper sounding and love the black bigger tailpipes! Removes the factory farting sounds... I hope this helps
