I have benefit so much along the years from this community, it's time for me to give back! I love this 3" midpipe made by @SpeedyPerformance Muffler. The sound is amazing. (Factory Muffler)[IMG][/IMG]

Personally been a fan of Burns Stainless, albeit a much higher price. Looking at a two-stage as an option for silencers. But the 17" long version.
Hey,

Complete overkill for this application @+6 x the cost! [Edit: Ok., for "sound", Burns is arguably one of the best out there!]

The resonators aren't for any performance increase. They're only there to suppress drone.

If you want to go, "Made in USA"

* Borla
* Magnaflow [Edit: 409 Steel]

There are others, but both of the above offer 304 and are @+2 x the cost.

Cheers!

Believe me it sounds very good inside the cabin, there is no need for doing a 17". There is only a little bit of drone at 2500 RPM and it stops after that. It's only seconds of it. I am very happy with the sound.... The car sounds amazing and the butt dyno is very pleased... I know that the power gains are minimal but you can feel the change in the power band after this upgrade...

Hmm...

Looks like it would no longer fit, what with the increased diameter and the upward bends no longer (visible?) being there.

Pics., Please!

Sorry man... I would need to use a lift... But I believe they use some shims for the brace to clear the 3" tubing.

it seems took care of the rassspy tone

Hey,

Again, Great post!

Sorry to butt in here, but I see that's this keeps being asked...

The title of the thread is, "Custom 3" Midpipe…".

As can clearly be seen from the photos provided, that X-pipe has been fabricated, on site from 3" curved tubing.

Any proper exhaust shop should have access to 304 S.S. tubing through welding supply sources in their areas. Any
competent TIG welder can manufacture an X-pipe for our application from 4 pieces (curves/elbows) of SS tubing
- 2 wholes and 3 halves.

Cheers!
