How long are you getting on brake pads

Tried to search this, but getting a lot of opposing info l. How often do you need to replace brakes on an M3. I think I got suckered into buying the pre-paid service because it included brakes, but not sure if I'm going to need them by 36miles. I was pretty good about fighting off most other stuff, but they got me there...

Also, what do brake pad replacement cost?

I'm at 41k and there is lots of meat left. Hoping to get them done before 50, but doubtful.

The get in the pre paid is spark plugs along with several oil changes. For me I saw it as fair value (bought the car with 15k).

Mine had 1100 miles. She convinced me after wearing me down that people were getting brakes done at 20k in M cars. I'm gonna insist that they do my brakes at 30k even if they don't need them cuz I paid for This shit due to her predatory sales tactic haha

BMW replaces at 4mm or less. I'm at 40k and close to getting my covered set.

Need another track day to seal the deal.

My first set went through to about 65000kms, that's when the sensor went off however BMW first suggested changing them at around 50000kms. My car's a daily so my brakes don't get a hard time really.

If you've got them covered in your package and do a decent amount of spirited driving I'd thing you'd get inside the 36000 miles for BMW to suggest change out.

They don't. They sold me the pre-paid service upgrade that they wore me down with... was a dumb move on my part

Brake pads are roughly around 260 for the front using Genuine BMW and 166 for the rear using Genuine BMW parts.

Also, BMW doesn't resurface rotors so hopefully they replace the rotors during the brake job and not just throw on new pads. (I bought the pre-paid maintenance as well).

If you're going to do this outside of warranty, Akebono pads about 200 for the full front and rear.

Try getting some wiper blades as part of your maintenance, those are covered.
