MP HAS clears the tires better than KW HAS and rides very well. Not a bad alternative option.

This thread is generally discussing the Blistein B16 Damptronic coilovers not spring kits.

I got the Tractive Plug'n'Play suspension that works with EDC and according to the technology (I didn't try the Bilstein, but tried the KW DDC on my 1M) it is much better solution.
It is miles better than my KW DDC. It is more comfort in comfort mode with no body roll and miles better in sport+ mode on track. This cars sould be with this suspention from the factory.

The Tractive setup is quite expensive right? I'm not really familiar with the brand.

From what I've heard the Tractive setup is very expensive. In the UK by the time it's installed and ready to go you'd be looking at about £6000!!

It sounds like good setup but that's a lot more that all but the highest level of coilovers out there!!

That's what I was told by the company who work with them in the UK.

They did say it was a very good system but expensive.

I decided not to wait any longer for Bilstein either so I'm going with some AST 5100 passive units.

Including fitting, EDC delete modules and some optional changes etc it's £2500 so much more like it and allegedly very good indeed.

I'm also bailing on the Bilstein's, can't wait any longer. Too bad, looked promising

Fair enough! It's a shame how long it has taken Bilstein to get the product to market! Considering it's basically the same system that is in the new Nissan GTR R35!

What is the AST 5100 ?

AST are a company who make suspension systems and have a very good reputation. They seem to be part of the same company who make Moton systems too which are generally regarded as very high end race setups so they must know a thing or two you'd hope.

From what I've found they can be setup to stock ride height if you wanted but can obviously do lower. They don't force the car to look slammed like the KW V3s do.

I only heard good things about the ride and handling too so I'll be giving them a go

Seems that Bilstein US product catalog has the Damptronic part available.

Anyone checked or even got their hands on one here yet?

After this long of a delay they want us to pay that much for it?

I might as well wait for KW V4's instead ffs. I'll test them if it didn't cost so damn much.

The fairy tale of that f**king Damptronic...they should sell it at a big discount instead of reaping even more money after that ridiculous story of waiting and waiting...embarrassing for such a big name...
