they weren't, but people aiming for drag are sure going to opt for DCT, before 2008 it wasn't an option
I guess 6MT in this configuration could squeeze 11.4-5 with a good driver |

With a good driver i would think 2-3 tenths like you said froma dig. At NFZ JC 6mt ate up the DCT i thought. |

I did, but I was also the most modded and starting from 40 rolls really helps because I only had to perfect the 2-3, 3-4, and 4-5. 3 shifts isn't going to give much to the DCT, especially when the cars are in motion

I'm not sure what the most reliable method is though? a VBox probably? I'm not sure how much those cost of what's involved for using one, but it would be cool to get one as a community tool to pass around (kinda like how I've some guys buy an RTAB tool and rent it out?). that way we wouldn't have to sit around doing fuzzy math trying to figure it out

Think about 0.2s for every shift on time to speed, so about 0.6sec for the 3 shifts. While the 6MT decelerates slightly for those 0.2 seconds, the DCT keeps accelerating. No one can beat that.

This is what the data looks like plotted on a graph. This is 0-60 data using 1ft rollout like the magazines use. You can also have it not use that method. If comparing to what magazines publish you will want to use the rollout. |

What's the real 0-60 time for the M4? BMW says 3.9 seconds, but BMW is usually a few tenths off for insurance purposes.
I've only got 200 miles on my M4 now, so I can't check for myself. But even now it feels quicker than my i8.
