Modded 2013 GT500 vs Modded M4



To put this into perspective, this GT500 killed a hellcat as well. I think the M4 held up good.

520whp vs 680whp doesn't seem like the m4 would have a chance ...the weight advantage won't help that much. So he must have been seriously sandbagging

interesting to see how m4 gains at shift points, DCT! few more mods on the M4 and cobra is history.

520 hp vs 680 and almost even...just see what happens at even power numbers

-hellcat seemed much further out, so m4 would have taken it out easily

Eh not quite....the GT500 was shifting like garbage on purpose, he quoted "I like to give BMW's a fighting chance". The owners cobra is an animal. However, he agreed the BMW held in there a lot better than he expected.

possibly, but you have to agree if you add 150 hp to m4 it would demolish that cobra

Yeah but you have to agree that if you add 150 hypothetical hp to the Cobra it would demolish the M4 with the extra hypothetical 150 hp.

If you want to start playing the shoulda woulda coulda game then the m4 has no chance. Gt500's have already ran into the 7's. I think its pretty fair to say MAYBE 1 or two m4's will ever sniff even 8's

all i'm saying is comparing apples to apples. that m4 needs to run a stock cobra and see what happens.

if you want to get into dragsters then throw cobra dragster on the twistie track with m4 GT4 .... just as ridiculous

Seriously guys, we know most BMW drivers/forum members/enthusiasts arent a fan of american cars and mustangs in particular (cue people who would rather "die" than drive one) but come on. As great as the M4 is, it's giving up way too much HP to legitimately have a chance unless serious driver error, especially in a straight line roll race (those cars are apparently able to hit 200mph with enough road)
