Nj Dealers recommendations.
I'm ready to jump to the M3 bandwagon.
I currently own an M235 which I bought a couple years back from Bmw of Bridgewater. I'm working with someone in Bloomfield which he is a great guy, very straight up person that will do everything he can within his power. Unfortunately, when it comes to the trade in, it wasn't what I expected. I know I can try to sell privately, but since the car I want will be an ordered one, the timing could be a problem. So, what I need is to shop around to see which dealer will work with me on the new and my trade. I need help finding someone you dealt with and is a straight shooter. I hate the game as I played it a long time ago. So, any recommendations is greatly appreciated. |

Richard Henriquez (CA) and Dori Dado (Manager) at BMW of Freehold. They gave me a nice trade in offer on my E92 M3 and a large discount before the M4 was released in the USA when everybody else was selling at MSRP.

Your best bet at this point is to try and sell the car privately. I was in the same situation few years ago and no dealer could even come close to my min level for the trade. It took me 3 months to sell it on my own, good luck

I understand if I sell privately, I will likely get near, or better then what I want. Problem is the timing, buyer might want the car before the new one arrives, or no buyer, and the car gets here early. Thanks everyone for the dealer info's, looks like I will have some travelling to do. |

You may not sell the old car immediately, so will own 2 cars for a short while - no big deal. The cost of extra insurance and parking will be far below that of the extra money brought it by the private sale vs. dealer trade-in. The only way this doesn't work is if you are uncomfortable managing the private sale transaction (some people are that way), or don't feel the time invested is worth the $K savings. There is no such thing as no buyer - it all depends on the asking price. As you lower it, you will find a buyer. Almost definitely a few $K above the best trade-in price a dealer would ever offer you. If you need the cash flow from the old car to close the deal on the new one, your finances may be too tight to accommodate the the purchase of the new altogether. a

Currently, I might have a deal that is workable. It will not be ideal for me to keep two cars, even for short period of time. What I can do is make the deal for the trade and during the wait for the car to be built, I will be more aggressive in selling it. Last edited by TB///M3; 01-13-2016 at 02:47 PM.. |

Straight shooter? Easy, call Mark Carvalho at Flemington BMW. He will tell you in a matter of minutes if it makes sense to visit him. He doesn't waste anyone's time. If you want his cell phone number, pm me.

I see you got yourself an M3 now. I reached out to Mark, he seems like a stand up guy, but don't think he will have the best pricing. |

Reach out to Danny Wong @ circle BMW in Eatontown. He got me a 2016 M3 at a great price in June last year. Plus, he and his team went out of their way to help me with the car when I was dealing with personal issues.
