NY State inspection and Tint, Need Help!!!

Every tint shop that I contacted about a year ago, including the well known The Art Of Tint, had shops that they could refer to as long as you're willing to pay a bit extra. This is not the case anymore as all of those shops have closed as of 1 month ago when I called TAOT to inquire about an inspection with tint for my new car. It is now necessary to remove the tint to pass as most shops around TAOT aren't willing to risk it anymore. I was literally told that most shops just aren't willing to do it anymore and the ones that get caught doing it are facing heavy penalties.

But I'm sure you'll want further proof and what not, but I simply don't care about winning an internet argument to further proceed. I'm sure there are shops that are passing the tint as I was recently in contact with a gentleman that has places to go to if I'm worried about tint (he saw my car and said he could never drive around like that, like he was in a fish bowl).

I recently had my wife's, mine and my mother laws passed with 20% all around.

I know someone. It's as simple as that.

I can't pass along the info though. It's my special secret. If I had to I would pull the tint and re-tint. No way In hell I'm driving around with zero tint. Looks like complete shit.
