Well, I'll say this:

I've been driving around a rental Highlander! - which makes me do this every time & my wife does that exact face:

And it's got some big meaty thick tires - no idea the size - and I just drive up to curbs like a muthafuckin balla: SCCRRRAAAAAPPPPPEEEEeeeee

and it's fucking awesome.

I actually love these wheels, the FF11. Probably get them in tarmac black as I saw them on another black M3 (can't find the pic now) and it just spoke to me. I had great success with my prior HRE FFs, wouldn't mind sticking with the company but just going with a different style.
I hear that. I think I prefer the meatier side, but usually settle on balanced. I can’t have too big or too little but I truly enjoy the ragged edge and handling and can’t get that with too small a tire. I think that’s what forces me into the corner I’m in.

What do you consider your preference? On say the 19” wheel… a 275/30/19 front?

The 265/295 setup looks pretty beefy on 437s

Yeah… I think the sidewall plays an equal part. I had 265/285 on my 437's but have a different setup now.

Would be nice with a 'new' car at the end of the ice era.

Then again seeing as EU got a down tuned Mach 1 due to emissions by the looks of it, I fear the S650 won't make it at all.

I guess one could import still but factory warranties is a thing to consider.

I've pretty much given up on BMW for anything other than SUVs and if I was to go electric the iX3 is neat.

"By 2024, it's an extreme likelihood that the S650 Ford Mustang will be the last American muscle car with an internal combustion engine. This makes us recall the sage words of Ferdinand Porsche, which say that "the last car built on earth will surely be a sports car." In this case, the last V8 muscle car will be a Ford Mustang."

Yep, thinner sidewall the better! Maybe I'll keep the stockers and try like a 265/30/19 with 285/30/19 or something. I just love the look of a big wheel/thin sidewall, and have never had any issues with either comfort or handling.

Hah! There's certainly something to be said for driving a vehicle and not worrying about the slightest scrape or *gasp*, wheel rash!

My 19" FI-Rs ran 265/35, 285/35.

There is no factory warranty for EU imports outside of Murica, here's what Ford USA says about it. Same with Dodge - warranty info from AEC, official Euro importer.

You'd have to rely on whatever aftermarket warranty the dealer offers through their partnership with an insurance company. You being not in the EU may or may not complicate it further.

BMW does the same thing with their "warranty" on Premium Selection cars. Zurich is the provider BMW works with and the process is so annoyingly complicated that I gave up on trying to have some work done.

What I do know is that there is a Ford dealer who does official imports but I'm not exactly sure how the warranty works, I assume you won't get anything from it or if you do it'd be the same as the US.

HRE or bust my friend. After owning a bunch of off brands, BBS, and HRE I cannot say how much better custom built HREs are than the others. Get the perfect offset as a bonus.

I think the HRE FF-series wheels are only available in preset sizes?

gotta pay up for the custom offset forged wheels.

The flow formed wheels are made in Taiwan. I had a set of FF on my MK7 Golf R and they were still quality but I did get quite a few chips on the Tarmac black finish which was a little disappointing as while they aren't high end HRE wheels they are still pricey relative to other brands.

I remember the last time I was deciding on wheels between R101 and FI-Rs, HRE randomly jumped into our thread to talk to me about the decision lol.

Wonder if it will happen if I do that in a few months...

I've had them all and prefer BBS over HRE. just timeless designs and have been around for fucking ever. Don't get me wrong I like HRE but just prefer BBS. I've had Volks HRE C300s and now BBS LM-Rs on two F80s and the LM-Rs are my favorite.
