Rear Tow Link: Dinan | Fall Line | SPL - Opinions and Feedback?

Looking to upgrade the rear tow link and seeing 3 companies manufacturing these parts but with very different price points and options.
Opinions and feedback most welcomed. I realize not everyone that tracks their vehicle is on the forum. As context list your set up (wheels/tires/sizes/track experience level/camber settings).

Fall Line: Offers a regular version and race version. Has anyone had experience using both? Very different price points.

SPL has a titanium version. What value does TI offer and is it necessary?

Dinan: People seem to like them and they do command a higher price as most of us know but how much better are they over the Fall Line non-race?

I did some searches and most off it was fragmented and could be buried in other posts with different titles. Hoping to strke up some good conversation around these.

Fall line race is unsealed vs the regular one of i recall but it offers a simpler adjustment with the pinch bolts. If you're actually racing and need to adjust often I guess race has its benefits. I have the regular ones.

It's a simple part and really none of them are that much different from each other so I don't think you can really mess up here. Challenge USA also makes them. I will say anecdotally Fall Line's support has been fantastic. Through no fault of theirs the end link bolts were missing from one of my sway bar link kits and they sent me new ones no charge, not even shipping.

I'll probably consider SPL's rear camber arms since it seems like they're the only ones offering it.

How's the noise / vibration with these compared to stock?

I had a bit of suspension changed yesterday.

Changes done:

Signature wheels with Sport Cup 2 tires
Dinan springs
Dinan rear link kit
Dinan monoball kit
SPL rear upper arms
SPL front control arms
SPL bump steer ends
Fall Line sway bar ends front and rear
Ground Control camber plates
Brake fluid flush
Alignment to track/daily

NVH is more than before but very much livable for a daily. Really only slightly more NVH.

I think the monoball may be the most noticeable change as I can feel the road texture through the steering wheel now. I think just rear toe kinks would not affect NVH.

I need to look into the SPL goodies. Be great to see any pics of the set up. I also heard the monoball is a must. I'm probably seeing 30+ track days this year all in. Probably need to do it all.

I have:

Dinan Coilovers
Dinan Monoball
GC camber plates

NVH is totally livable. I really only cringe when I hit a step / seam on the freeway (SF Bay Area people , think 280S between Palo Alto and Los Altos). It can be jarring.

Big improvement with the way the car moves.

Next will likely be something more solid for read end toe, but my first track day with this car is June and we will see how it does...

Car feels great for DD/Track. +1 installing the mono ball was most noticeable.

I went from stock to all that in one fell swoop. It is impossible to say what the SPL parts do for the handling. Adjustability of the arms when lowering the car and setting up alignment was the driver for changing every suspension arm. A benefit to that was getting rid of all the rubber bushings in the suspension.

I've done some spirited driving and do notice the rear end is better behaved under throttle. The front gives a lot more feedback than stock. Under heavy braking the car is just rock solid now. No more twitching when reaching braking limit.

I have autocross 5/13 and Laguna track day 5/29. I'll be able to push the car then and have an idea if the changes help the car at the limit.

Autocross was bit of a bad day. I had a difficult time "seeing" the course.

That said, driving car at limit around turns is improved. I thought I had better control of the rear with throttle and the front end behaved much better when transitioning from full braking to trail.

Then again, it could all be subjective.

1. I'm just your typical below-average joe.
2. I have a lot of money into the suspension so it better be improved over stock, lol.

With your setup, do happen to hear a small clunking at low speeds (10 to 25mph) over bumps or uneven pavement? I just had the Mperformance HAS, Dinan sway bars front and rear, Dinan front monoball, and Dinan rear toe links. It seems to lessen on sport or sport + suspension setting. It seems a bit worse on comfort.

Different platform but I am planning on purchasing the SPL rear toe arms because of the ease of adjustment when I am doing alignments for the track. That pinch bolt eliminates all the fiddling with jam nuts and eccentric bolts which is a huge plus for me. Not to mention the price difference between the SPL rear toe arm and Fall Line, last time I checked SPL was $280 compared to $600 for Fall Line race version that includes the pinch bolt(Street version does not have pinch bolt). No brainer to go with SPL for me and they offer a discount if you ship them back a competitors product. (Not sure if Fall Line does the same)

I diagnosed the clunk and found the problem. The locking nut that Dinan supplies for the sway bar where it attaches to the adjustable end link is of very poor quality. The nut was already stripped on the drivers side and the passenger side one didn't look great either. We took both nuts off and luckily the BMW locking nut fits and seems to be of better quality. If you are getting excessive clunking and have the Dinan sway bars with adjustable end links, check the Dinan supplied locking nut.
