I see. So 3 single layered strips running the full length. When I first read it I thought you might have double layered the strips on the ends to make up for a fitment issue.

Thanks for the info!

Other than that it went pretty smooth.
How did the underside of yours look? Mine had a few rough areas. The front edge of the spoiler had a lip in some areas that I knew would not let it sit flush. I went ahead and sanded the areas smooth. Still need to install.

I had one hole on the bottom other than that it was flawless.

Just got my CS style spoiler in from Euro_kingdom and it definitely had a few problem areas. The lip of the spoiler the points outward is where the seam of the clear coat meets and is definitely visible with the spoiler installed. There were also some rough areas with the clear coat and the carbon fiber not really being uniform. I requested an exchange if they can guarantee that the replacement won't have any defects. We'll see what they say. This is the link to the eBay listing: https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?m...2F112260790595

Not sure if you care but that's not the CS spoiler. That's the M4 high kick.

Any update yet?

Installed the mperformance spoiler fitment is spot on right till the trunk edges.

My detailer performed the work and he took the factory spoiler off and after he cleaned up the place he showed me 3-4 minor dents on the center of the trunk under the factory spoiler and dont think it was caused by his plastic removal tool. I let it go and had him install the new Mperformance one as it covers the dents , would you have fixed it by PDR? Its at the back of my mind and have to get it fixed if i remove the spoiler.

LOL! So much for carbon fiber being light!

I just installed my CF trunk spoiler yesterday. My trunk still opens all the way up lust like before.

Your trunk needs some viagra

Yes, adjust the trunk springs to a different setting- there’s a thread somewhere. It takes 30 seconds and gets the trunk back to opening as it should.

That’s what I’m assuming mine was from, but after I adjusted the tension springs it functions 100%

Does anyone know if the carbon fiber splitters from the ebay seller "bulbxpert" is it installed without drilling holes in the bumper and reversible?

Looking for something that doesn't drill holes in the bumper for lease return in the future, and can I install it without using 3m tape, as getting 3m tape off might be tough once its placed onto the front bumper.

Just by looking at the area, it doesn't appear that there would be anywhere to drill into unless from the bottom. I'm pretty sure that's a 3M tape item.

This is what it says on the ebay post, but a lot of times they aren't as they describe. By the way its written it says you just bolt it on, and no need for 3m tape but I'm not really sure.

No Modification or Cutting Required. Simply Remove the 2 Front Bumper Rubber Under Trays, Then Add These On.
