In a place somewhere undisclosed I had my car up to 155MPH then backed off but I think it could have pulled more.

Jumping on the freeway I rip it to about 80mph then don't usually go past that. The insurance is already expensive:-) looking forward to doing a track day to try out launch control and top speed

It is hard to find the road but I have had my E46 up to 160 and will at some point take the new one up as well. These cars are designed for it. I couldn't believe how smooth the e46 was. Can't wait for the new car to come and try it out. Of course this was on the autobahn.

I was rounding a long empty two lane curve and pressing it to see how well it banked (and an Audi A6 close behind). Trac control was on so felt power start to cut at 87-90. As the curve became a straightaway I floored it and she literally jumped to 130 in an instant. Immediately let off (wanted to be safe....i.e. Wanted to get a glimpse of the guys reaction in the Audi) but was too far back (and he was still trying). Obtained a much deeper appreciation for this vehicle after that.

Because of speedometer error, you will probably read an indicated 167~169mph on the speedo.

266kph @ Autobahn
266kph on the speed meter was max due to the speed limiter when I drove an F80 M3 on the Autobahn in Germany.

Done on unrestricted part of Autobahn, I'm only at 267 km/h in the pic but 269 km/h was def the limit. I need to change the VMAX as soon as I take delivery on my new one.
