F8x M3 & M4 Offsets

Gang,

How do wheel offsets compare from an f8x M3 to an M4 and vice versa?

Example: If you swap a set of aftermarket wheels from an M4 (which are flush up front and flush in the rear) to an M3, how do the wheels look?

Or are the offsets the same if your looking for the same fitment?

How so?

Sorry, I really don't know the difference between offset and fitment.

Rear fitment is a little bit different, not sure if he's trolling.

The rear clearance on an F80 is about 2-3mm less, for example:

10.5 +35 with a 305/30/19 Michelin 4S will clear on the F82 M4 with no alignment work while on the M3 it requires some work

From a chamber standpoint?

OEM the F80/F82 share the same sizes and offsets but the F82 has a bit more clearance, that’s all.

How's that do with tire wear?

Does it kill your tires and not worth it, just get specs for f80?

More camber means increased tire wear.

Your original question was if M4 fitment will fit M3..... But if you can order fitment for F80 I would just do that

Toe will affect wear much more than camber. It is still premature but not as significant
