CF lip + Curb fixable?

Car was lower then I expected. After 1 month of have this lip its now destroyed. Any was to fix this? Even if it means to paint it or at least just the side parts and maybe leave the middle carbon exposed? Kind of a waste of money to just throw it away.

Buy cheap lips so you don't stress it is much? : It's bound to happen eventually.

I'd try to fix it before tossing it. Just some sandpaper and a clear coat spray can should make it look pretty good. Won't be 100%, but lips always get scratched and cracked anyways.

My Status Gruppe Carbon lip lasted two hours before catching a driveway and cracked like yours. I still left it on for 6 months or so. Haha.

You're into the weave on the front edge, meaning it's toast in my opinion. Even if you get the clearcoat looking decent, it's still going to show weave unevenness.

Worst case scenario, just paint it.

This will keep happening which is why I refuse to put a lip on.

Well guys after watching some YouTube videos I attempted to fix it myself. Worst case it would look like shit and I would just paint it black and call it a day but I think it came out okay imo. I used black epoxy to fill in the holes and stick it back to one piece. I sanded it down to the weave or at least as close as i can get without actually hitting it. I got this System Three 0102K40 General Purpose Epoxy Kit online and pretty much just re made the surface of it again. Let it dry for a day and sanded it back to a smooth surface and correct shape and hit it with a few layers of UV protected clear coat. Wet sanded and polished to get it shinny and put it back on. All in all it was a bit of a headache at first but not too bad for my first time doing anything like this. Cost me less then $80 for all the supplies from Amazon. Let me know what you thing

Good job! It doesn't look bad at all. I've had my lip for almost 2 years but it has lots of small cracks and scrapes on the end part. Once it fully cracks I will be getting a new one. Car looks 100x better with a lip. I've found that you can either lower a car or add a front lip (not both).

My drive way is so steep if I was to lower then I would have to park on the street!

I used to have a slammed Vette and I broker the radiator support twice from my driveway

I wish costco would sell lips so could buy in bulk.
That repair looks pretty good.

Impressive! Good job saving it instead of tossing it in the garbage.
