I spent a ton of time researching the best way to get my M3 on to Jackstands. Settled on Jack Point Jackstands. Today was my first time using them and I am super happy with them. Easy to use and their customer service was top notch. Definitely recommend.

I got these when I picked up my M3 back in '17. They're absolutely fantastic and a really good design. If you're local to the Chicago area, get in touch with John and see if he has any "factory seconds." By "factory second," I mean a stand with such a small cosmetic blemish that I couldn't find it if I went and looked for it today; it's mostly of significance to those people who get their stands polished. I got a small discount for the blemish (and didn't have to pay shipping, which can be pricey) by picking them up locally.
Incidentally, John, the owner/founder/inventor, is a real enthusiast. I spent several hours talking to him about cars (he's primarily a Porsche guy, himself). The stands don't make him a ton of money, but producing them has given him some fantastic experiences. |

Oh my gosh...I have been searching for a solution like this for years. So simple and genius.
Now I don't need to feel bad about only using the floor jack to swap wheels. Thank you OP.

$600 is halfway to quickjacks. You are limited to the height with those so I say just go straight to quickjacks.

Came here to say this. Most of the time you email them and you can get 10-20% off as well.
