Big O Tires for an alignment?
Is it ok to use Big O Tires for an alignment? Sorry, new M owner. With my previous BMWs it didn't matter as much. I didn't know if M cars differ on this or not.

I would rather go to a performance tuning shop to get an alignment than any BMW dealer.

I'd rather go to a BMW dealer than Big O Tire, which is what OP is considering.

Maybe I got a break because I had them balance and mount new tires too (although I bought the tires from Tire Rack). Check other dealers in the area or that dealer's website for service specials?

Go to a shop that is reliable and known for getting good results for all makes and models; tons of Indy shops are good for that and don't charge dealership prices.
It's among the dues we pay for owning high performance cars, and with your screen name, I'm sure you always pay your dues. |

Head west to West End Alignment. There is no better alignment shop in SoCal.
Peep their Yelp reviews. It's a little bit of a drive from you, but well worth it. |

I guess it may depend on how you drive the car but there shouldn't be a reason you need an alignment under 3 year intervals under normal driving conditions. I paid $99 at my local BMW dealer for an alignment on my previous M4. Initially I called for an appointment and someone told me the the M has additional bracing and requires more adjustments which I knew was a lie. Don't let anyone tell you the M3/4 is "special" and should cost more as this is complete BS. Its a standard alignment...
