Cs exhaust programming different?

Hey guys,

I recently drove buddy's m3cs and when I switch to engine sport mode, the valve open instantly. But on my m4 mpe, the valve will only open in sport mode when I give it gas. Otherwise valve won't open automatically when switching mode. Any insight on what's the difference?

It’ll be the ECU software as he’s probably not stock. The CS that my brother had had exactly the same valve operation as your M4; valve only open after switching to sport and touching the gas. It also wouldn’t open on cold start unless the full cold start sequence was completed.
