Yes but I think BMW will pull a trick here by pricing the new M3 near the out going model and then ramp up the price on the M 4
Definitely possible I think seeing how the m5 was priced close to outgoing modem at first and now 1-2 years later just got a $2k price hike.

Well, the 2008 coupe was $56,500 + $775 Destination (I had the first in Oregon), but the 2013 had inflated to $60,100.

True but it got more standard features..has the MDM, the USB interface as well as bluetooth for no charge. These all cost money in 08.

My 2011 didn't include USB interface, MDM as well as comfort access as standard. All these are standard now for 2013, which I am enjoying fully now.

I believe the 2014 F32 M4 will start in the $62-65K range, probably in the lower range of this. My guess...

There's an article on autoexpress stating that the estimated price is going to be around 57,000 UK Pound, $92,000 US Dollar.

I really hope that's not the case.

I don't see that happening. I think the MSRP will be $65,000 to $70,000, with options pushing well into the mid to upper $80,000 range (CCB will put it low to mid $90,000) IMHO.

If the price gets that high, I'll be bailing on my #2 spot and pickup a used 991 Carerra S. This car should be mid 70's to 80K with a reasonable level of options. Otherwise, they are going to lose a number of buyers.

That won't happen as the M5 MSRP is $92k. Furthermore noone in the US would buy an M3/M4 at that price.

+1

Even at $70k lightly optioned, it's not exactly a bargain. If the price gap between M3 and M5 isn't big enough, the M3 will be a hard sell for most folks.

Low to mid $60s seems logical but bmw does like to charge a lot for every option so I can see most builds creeping into the $70k territory without going too option crazy.

Pricing varies by region for a lot of reasons, you can't just take a UK price and convert it to dollars.

That's a good point, the US seems to get a break in actual price on cars for various reasons. Even Canadian cars are more, seems many places in Europe are a bit more also.

Don't even ask those in parts of Asia and Austrailia how much it costs to buy a car. I think in Singapore and/or Australia a 335i ends up being around $80k USD.

£57000 in the UK is only a few thousand £ more than the E92. So expect to pay a few thousand $ more in the US too.

Singapore prices would be many multiples of the US price.

For the price of a new M3, you get a 10 year old KIA in Singapore. We're lucky SOBs in the US in that regard.

If you go by the UK pricing then m4 should start in US around $67K. If you go to BMW.com.uk 14 550i M package starts at 57,xxx. That's $93k. In us 14 550i M starts at $67K.

I think m4 will start at around $65K-$68K and m3 around $62K-$65K

I also have a feeling that the CF roof on the M3 is going to be available ONLY with the CCBs.
I'll be pissed!!!

I would guess that you could be spot on, but suspect that by the time one adds options the car will hot $80k.

I'm predicting the m4 will be inching close to $85-$90k up here in Canada, it'll come close to $100k with options.

That's ridiculous and would never happen. It needs to compete with RS5 and C AMG ... That means low 70s fully optioned (no CCB).. That's not my prediction; that's reality calling.
