Lol yeah, it's going to be expensive. 3k each for paint/leather, 5k for leather dash.

This thing will not be cheap. I wonder if they'll actually offer full Indiv. interiors or just Extended. The E90 could probably have stayed under 70k with individual paint, "standard" individual leather (champagne, platinum, cohiba, etc.) and ZCP, but I expect this to be 75k-80k with limited goodies. Even up to 100k with cfrp seats and Carbon Ceramic brakes.

I won't be getting the CCBs for sure, those are way too expensive and I doubt I'll need them.

given how good the f80 looks, i wonder what the M4GC (or really any 4gc for that matter) is actually bringing to the table??

Given how different the 6er is compared to the 5er, i can see some distinction with the 6GC. But the 4er is really a 3er coupe, so i'm just not seeing a whole lot of distinction...

Why the m4 looks, not so aggressive as m3???
Always bought coupes over sedans, but now it's time to think....
The M4 we all saw was a concept, NOT the production car. I think we should wait until we see the production car debut. I suspect the production M4/M will have really wide hips - like I have seen on the test cars I have seen IRL.

Things sometimes look different in person compared to photos.

The production M4 will have the same wide hips as the concept M4.

The GC will obviously look sleeker, lower with more flowing and attractive exterior lines in the rear half. I owned an F10 and just drove the 6 GC at the UD event and the experience from the driver seat is quite radically different. The significantly more sloping window and the interior works to create a more intimate and sporty feel and the hood also disappears quicker giving you less of a feel that you are at the helm of Titanic. I definately prefer the GC feel behind the wheel over the F10. The GC was also tuned to act slightly more sporty but it's still no where near the E60 ( the GC's steering is garbage ) and for my tastes pretty uninteresting as a package.

I've driven the M5 and M6 ( not the 6 GC ) and perceived the difference to be less noticeable in terms of tuning as IMO it should be. No M car should be held back but be as good as BMW know to build them within the parameters of cost. I really hope the M3 will only take a back seat to the M4 and M4GC in terms of aesthetics and NOT driving dynamics and performance since that would really, really suck.

Love it, the flared fenders

I think it looks much better than the M4, and this is coming from a E92 M3 owner!

You mean massive body roll, a steering system that is not connected to the front wheels, and the engine note played through the speaker system?!?!?!?!

I know that but the way I see it.. the M4 is based on the 4 series chassis but since this chassis can't accommodate the M treatment, it had to be modified. Now since the M3 has the same spec of an M4 (knowing as well the 3er has a narrower tracks), the F80 will have bigass fenders to accommodate the wider tracks a la M4. I'm not talking about parts, just the wider tracks conspiracy theory lol

The sedan shares the front with the coupe, like the E9x did, but it's less evident.
Nice observation. Very subtle, but makes a big difference in appearance to my eyes.

Just like the current m3's and was expected by about 99.9999% of the people.

I wonder what the m5 would look if it shared the front end of the m6 vs base 5ers. Ha.
