Looks pretty fast but my god does it sound bad for an Alfa. Sounds like a never ending slow fart. I'm pretty sure the production car will sound better, I can't see Alfa of all releasing a car with that sound track.

Exhaust note sounds great. Looks a little darty in some corners but I'm sure there are many more tuning iterations to complete. Thanks for posting. Can't wait for official reviews.

Looks and sounds like they've got a lot of work to do still.

Looks a bit 'floaty' or unstable in the corners compared to the M4 - realize the driver is pushing but still does not seem as planted. Sound is a bit odd to say the least and quite different from a much more visceral sound they released of the car in recent ads. Still do not like the front end but many other aspects of the car are top notch.

First thing that came to mind... slightly unstable and rear end looks slippery... even more so than m3.

Another video posted by the same user on YouTube. This car will be interesting to follow as testing continues.

Somewhat interesting. Definitely, Alfa needs to fine tune the suspension tuning. Maybe needs euro MDM. It farts like M3/4 just deeper! Maybe this is an inline 8? I need to see this car live.

This is bizarre. BMW first tests a year at the Nurburgring, then releases the car with gusto, usually at a track. Alfa first releases the car with great hyperbole, then goes for a few laps of testing at the Ring. The wrong way round?!

What's more, if the real car sounds like this, what sound recording did they use during the press introductions a few weeks ago?? Did they totally fake it?

Not promising.

Sounds like a manual to me. Looked around the web and found a few reports of a 6 speed manual.
