I've also asked Demon Tweeks for a price for a replacement shock - in case I can't be bothered with the warranty process.
I'll see what part number comes back.

If you can ask for the part numbers for the front and the back, please, that would be helpful as my issue is in the rear and yours is in the front. I will also message Bilstein again for the part numbers and to confirm.

Hope it goes well today - after a bit of Googling some other posts ( I think you commented on one of them ) seem to suggest that the sensor needs recalibrating via ISTA? Once I get chance I'll plug my laptop in and see if I can perform this in ISTA - hopefully will fix it!!!

I installed B6's on my F80 and got the chasis code as well from the passenger side. I bought new OEM cables and it made no difference. I put in the stock shock and everything was fine again, I sent the B6's back because I thought they were faulty. In retrospect I think they have a L and R side part number and perhaps I put in the wrong one. I didn't get any error from the drivers side though.

There definitely is a left and right side. Not sure if that would have thrown a code though. Maybe one of the connections was pinched or not properly connected??

I tried the connections with new wires, tried everything no communication with the shock, I put in the stock shock with the original wire no issues.

Bilstein B6 edc question
Hey guys. I have just installed the B6 Damptronic kit on my 2018 m3 zcp with european Eibach pro springs and it feels amazing! However, there is one issue - when I took the car for a spin after installation, I have found out that edc doesn’t work correctly. The car is very stiff in Comfort mode (feels like Sport +), comfortable in Sport mode and Sport + is a middle ground. It looks like edc settings got twisted somehow. I have asked the guys who installed the shocks why it is this way and they told me that it can’t be their mistake as they have already installed several similar kits and OEM shocks for edc cars and never had any problems. Do you know what might be the issue? Could the presets in the shocks be incorrect? Can edc be somehow adjusted to fix the issue? Please let me know. Thank you 🙏🏼

How are you guys liking this setup after a few months? I am thinking about pulling the trigger.
Also, where can I find the shocks? They seem to be backordered everywhere. I am in the US. |

OEM springs/OEM dampers: compatible MP HAS/OEM dampers: compatible OEM springs/B6 damptronics: compatible MP HAS/B6 Damptronics: NOT compatible?? I'm not arguing with you b/c I don't have any knowledge of these dampers, but that doesn't make much sense to me. Also, Imran@Evolve did you ever get custom B6's to match with the MSS HAS kit?

heya,
Possibly it is the overall diameter of the shock body? The OEM shocks have aluminum bodies where the Bilsteins I believe are steel (my B16's on my f22 were steel). With that in mind the collars for the front shocks would be too big for the narrower Bilstein's? just thinking out loud... josh |
