I've used Montway Auto Transport for my last couple of cars from Texas and New Jersey to CA without any problems on their part (my m3 was rear ended on their trailer by another semi on the freeway). They were the cheapest compared to the others.

+1 for Montway

I shipped door to door from North Carolina to LA for $1200.

When using Montway, or any carrier for that matter, make sure to ask for top load in a closed container.

Never mind using a broker service. They'll call you for days. I used the following driver. call him direct for enclosed service. He handles a lot of high end cars. He shipped my gt3RS from Iowa to Oregon.

Montway has done 3 moves with me (job related) and have had 2 personal cars delivered after purchase... open trailers and never an issue at all. They are always the cheapest too...

I also used Montway. Arizona to N.J., the company they contracted had horrendous reviews so I was nervous af. But they car came with no issues and no damage so I’ll vouch for Montway. They transport thousands of cars so your going to have that margin of shit reviews.

For that trip I would recommend Horseless Carriage. I have used Montway numerous times but they sub everything out.

Reviving this thread as I'm in the process of setting up shipping now.

Do you guys recommend open or enclosed shipping - I know this is case by case, so in my scenario it's going from Georgia to NJ (up the east coast) within the next few days, i.e., weather is not an issue.

Thoughts?

After calling almost every company listed above, I went with Mike who's number is listed above (see the 347 number).

Everything was silky smooth with him, and he set me up with a driver who did the enclosed transport for me for $50 cheaper than the rest.

I would give you the driver's info direct, but I believe his routes are just up and down the east coast.
