hey guys.. i want to get more power to my under seat earthquake sws 8s and add a 10 inch kicker sub to the front pass foot well area. I want to leave everything else.. Can i just grab the two wire from the amp to the under seat 8s and use them for the input to my d4s m1004 4 channel amp? Channel 1 and 2 go to the under seat 8s 60 to 300hz channel 3 and 4 bridged to the kicker 50 hz down with no subsonic.. I also have an Audio Control lc2i if that helps.

That will work.

Why so high on the earthquakes for lpf ? ( 300 hz ) . Are you running a 3 inch door speaker or similar or just after a super loud uppper bass ?

door 4 inch plays from 300 to 2k..... The 4s dont play much lower that that while remaining linear. sq is my main goal.. Bill Fitz is ok with 300 hz on the earthquakes..

I think the 8s are much better at producing low end than the 4s. So i say lets let the big boys make the big waves and the little guys make the little waves...

All good , trade off imho is front image height above 200 -230. Try from 175hz - 300hz and you'll should be able to hear the image change.

But if I was running SI m3s or Utopias would move to 300hz due to smaller driver. Only need a few mms of cone travel from 200hz plus regardless of driver size. Most of the 4 - 4.5 inch speakers that fit BMW can do this.
