I took advantage of the sun today and some spare time to get some half decent pics the colour.
The brakes have bedded in nicely now and after some early morning jaunts along the A272 they are proving to be a great upgrade. The plate will not be to everyone taste but I like it and it was a lucky find and managed to deal direct with the owner rather than get ripped off by reg transfers. |

Nearly two years since the last update!
Two weeks short of four years with this car and today it was collected by the dealer I bought I bought it from after I removed the brakes, wheels, suspension and number plate and replaced it with all the low mileage parts that had been stored carefully. They have advertised the car for sale already with pics to come so it will be available to buy as an approved used car with a years BMW AUC warranty. It has been a great car which I have enjoyed immensely but a couple of factors meant it was time for it to go. Wanting to do more track days and making changes to suit with a clubsport type build being something I wanted, I just felt this was not the car to do it to so eventually an older F82 M4 Clubsport build will happen. The other thing was an urge to replace it with an Alpina B3 touring which to me is a more suitable car as a daily and if you read back through this thread, is something I have deliberated over for some time and as time is ticking on with the sale of the Alpina brand to BMW in 2025, this is the last chance to own a new Alpina B3 so an order has been placed for a G21 B3 GT touring. |
