I'm on 20" BBS Fi-Rs so I'm a bit limited on rubber. The Cup2s are probably the direction I will go, if I get more serious I'll go to 19's for the track and see if I have some better options with sticker tires.

That's a boost limit by gear, but i'm sure Paul could make a dedicated tune that directly is like this

If you have ever read the estimated BM3 power values they claim a 2%hp & 3%TQ going from stg1 to stg2 and the required mods. The tunes are very close. They have squeezed so much out of the initial tune than going from there to stg2 or E30 is quite small and require bolt ons. They are very close due to the OP having none. That is why you should always follow the rule that sometimes if you don't have the right parts or conditions then your ahead to tune down for consistency. I learned that with my M2

To those that wonder why I am getting a tune if I don't "speed", a tuned car feels better throughout the power band not just at WOT. The extra power is also nice to have on the highway and track days as well. |

Very impressive dyno numbers for a custom tune on 93 octane over OTS tune. How is the car behaving, does it still drive well and did you have any issues since getting the custom tune? After analyzing this dyno graph, it really makes me consider getting a custom tune for myself.

I sold the car a year ago and it had zero issues. The new owner drove it for about 9 months with no issues then installed a single turbo and got a new tune. I think he went to Paul Johnson as well but I'll text him and see how that is going.

Beautiful car man! Any regrets or was it a great decision and if so what makes it so?

As far as differences it’s just the overall driving experience. You sitting much lower and you feel like it’s a sports car. Just like the M3 the mods are endless. My entire suspension is E-Motion engineering with Tractive coil overs. I’m about to add Tail turbos, intercoolers, headers etc. of Porsche tax is real and mods cost more. I will never say it’s better just different than an F80. I just wanted something smaller and lighter and this car scales in 500lbs lighter than my M3. With me in the car it’s at 3400 lbs with half a tank of fuel. The F80 was 3900ish |
