Ok so i'm looking at the M Performance exhaust on a m3 ZCP. I really liked the CF tips but honestly they sound like trouble... maybe just stick with the stock exhaust? Especially if we are 100% that the exhaust doesn't just bolt on. not sure i want to cut anything so I cant get it back to stock.

I have m performance exhaust ~ on my M3.
But after 5000miles of driving the m performance, ti muffler developed a crack on one of the exhaust pipe outlet area. Luckly it was replaced under warranty. Too bad for the state of the art manufacturing process. It was a huge problem which BMW never placed a recall. Over fifty FX M3 M4 cars with M performance Ti exhaust owners experienced this and were replaced under warranty. But I love my M performance exhaust ~ Love the Sound and quality.

Backbox only
Sorry for reviving old thread, but I've been looking at the shop of one of the dealers and apparently they sell backbox as a standalone part. Question is, does the backbox fit to ZCP midpipes, and if so is there any point in installing only backbox instead of full system?
Thanks in advance! |

First post. Sharing a video I made of my cracked M Performance Exhaust (2016 M4 F83):
After reading other posts here, I'm afraid to just replace it since it seems likely it'll just happen again (BMW won't replace it under warranty). |

hi folks - quick MPE question if someone can help.
I've got a 2014 f82 that I'm trading in to get a July 2020 f82 comp pack. I have the v2 MPE on my 2014 and want to take the exhaust off so I can fit it on the new 2020 car. I've been told it won't fit - has anyone had experience with an MPE on a late f82? Seems strange to me as I thought the f82's were pretty much the same engine / exhaust-wise? Thanks in advance for any advice. |

Dealer now telling me as the MPE wasn't available as an optional add-on from BMW when the new car was registered it would void my warranty on the 2020 car.
I'm going to take the MPE off my 2014 and keep it for fitting later, having had it for 18 months I'm hooked on the noise it makes.! |

The best M4s in my opinion was 2017-mid 2018 LCI as the non carbon drive shaft is heavier as well hence less car for same money! |
