Ditto. I'd like to see the vboxtools plot as well. I can say based on the logs, Dan's shifting speed is brilliant.

Honestly, I'm a bit surprised we're already into the summer and I have yet to see anybody post up times for a simple stage 1 tune (straight 91/93, no corn, no dp, intake, etc.) since OBDII has been implemented. Anybody know why that is? In the Audi world, it was all about the 1/4 mile times (everybody shat on the dyno stuff). Here it seems like people don't really care, just that it "pulls hard" and makes burble sounds. I understand it's hard to get to a track and maybe the owner priorities are different, but just thought it was really odd. Or maybe, they're all waiting for the fall boost season

I believe most of the M3 owners just want a little more from their cars hence they go with OTS maps. The car is impressive as it is straight from the factory and when ppl buy m3s, usually it's not for the raw or straight line speed. The fact that these cars come boosted now and are fast is a bonus.
However there is so much after market support on these cars compared to other brands that anyone caring about the 1/4 mile etc are running bigger turbos (Pure), or e85 and so on. Most of those guys have all posted numbers here.

I don't really post much here because we are not allowed to post anything even remotely business related without a vendor account.
My F80 went 9.47@149.22mph and has a 60-130 time of 4.88s. It would be cool to get on the list! |
