The F8x is not unique, but maybe expensive in comparison to average cars. While I think the car is Super nice, it is by no means a super car, I would reserve that term for the likes of Pagani or similar.

I would say more exotic than super for the Pagani or similar and leave super for the M's only.

Super car is a title reserved for like the top 3% of cars or something that is groundbreaking or on the edge of technology, such as the new Tesla Roadster "concept".

M3 is just a fast grocery getter. Not even close to supercar status.

Using price as a measure would put cars like the Rolls Royce, Bentley, AMG G65, etc. into the Supercar status. I don't believe that they are.
