Ah okay, well i'll flash mine tomorrow morning as it's 11pm here.

So there is basically instructions to follow, but in short I go to stock map and click unlock etc. I must admit I have the male DNA of don't read instructions so probably would of done the same.

Here in Oz - 2017 F80 M3 ZCP, looks like the DME for mine is too new too. Any idea on the time frame of this 70gb upload?

LOL yeah after activation go to the Stock Tune as it'll be the only map in the account, click on it and click the big red flash button. It'll bring up a number of options, first one being OBD UNLOCK. Run that through and then flash the OTS you'd like by going to that map and just hitting FLASH.

Recovery is just by doing the OBD UNLOCK first that's shown under the Stock Tune

I followed all instructions + unlocked. I then flashed a stage 2 93 ots map...car drove half a block and then died, now wont start, no fault codes either.

I flashed the stock map, still wont start.

That one doesn't really make much sense. If a flash has any issue the car simply won't start period so its some secondary issue that isn't flash related. Reaching out to you over support to take a look.

Sorry about that Dzenan, I panicked when my car couldn't start!!!.... I thought it will do the unlock at the same time regardless what map.

Anyways, I've successfully unlocked it by using stock map and then stage 2 map was all good now. Car started up nicely. Not been out yet as it's too late.

Will report back tomorrow together with transmission flash.

Please could't you have a look at my support BCS-2148 regarding transmission flash?

Becareful...everything checked out for me and ran perfectly until I drove half a block and went into limp mode.

We believe we've identified root cause. Unlock is working great but the issue has to do with the OTS map flash due to a change done just recently in the OTS Map delivery portion. We're following up with the guys that have had the issue to sort this out asap. Of course no release or demo ever goes smoothly to start out. Check out Apple's iPhone X announcement not doing the face unlock

That's good to hear - at least it's good to know they are basically available to support on-demand if something goes awry....if I lived closer i'd drive by and give them a 6 pack since they probably haven't had much down time lately...

Even after all the precondition checks in place, I can't believe people are still screwing up on the flash process.

In case any the following preconditions happen, flash will not begin:

- engine running
- immobilizer system not unlocked
- gear box input speed not zero
- gear box output speed not zero
- vehicle speed not zero
- ignition needs restart, ignition off-on is required
- programming voltage insufficient
- ignition off (clamp 15 is off)
- vehicle's electrical system voltage too low
- temperature too high
- temperature too low

I'm referring to those who are flashing before unlock, and flashing while the engine is running.

When attempting to activate the license it says Failed Adding device. I've checked that the VIN and License are correct in both the activation email and Agent and still the same error. It sees the car and is ready to activate just won't go any further.

I've checked all the Requirements for the agent and wondered if maybe I'm missing a step. Agent shows 0.9.50

It still shows the spot for selecting a DME readout but says to skip if doing OBD Unlock.

Would you say for now it's best to wait 1-2 days for teething issues to go? otherwise I guess you get just a stock pile of error logs.

I am having the exact same error. Just logged a ticket BCS-2168
