A .5-mile jot down the road to snag some shots and then it started to rain...grabbed this one before getting under cover (hail followed!).

Some short & sweet action enjoying the birds chirping while paint prepping.

Thank you!
------------------------- The latest video sharing some of the wash and decontamination process. The video also shows off some of the superficial defects that were visible even before the decontamination.

Your car looks amazing, so much so I needed to see if you were on the boards so I can comment on it!
I've seen you drive by a few times now and I'm always on foot walking our dogs (corgi and golden) on Arizona or Dekalb Ave. Usually driving a Silverstone e92 M3. |

Only up close and with a lot of direct light. In this post I showed off the satin PPF over the paint in different lighting at further distances: https://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...8&postcount=27

The paint had some pretty gnarly trash in it from the factory. I sanded them all out and refined them to a beautiful finish.
Here's just the driver door before/after. (more video of that process is to come once I have time to do post) Fender liners were removed to be coated with Modesta EPC and calipers coated with BC-04. More detailing was done on all of what you see just because. Not that that part really mattered but I definitely have a problem. I mentioned the game plan for the protective film in another video but here's a bit of it being installed. I'm installing glossy PPF first on the full hood, full front fenders, front bumper, rocker panels and the full carbon fiber roof. Then satin paint protection film is going over those glossy pieces (other than the roof which will remain glossy) and the rest of the car. Double-bagging the areas most prone to impacts to protect the individual Daytona Violet paint. Hood getting the glossy PPF: And a bit of the satin....
