Accord? Sorry to keep spamming examples, (maybe I am blind?!) but if you don't accept they are akin to the Porsche lights because of the red strips, I guess Euro Audi's are in the same boat

I guess I should have saved my money and purchased a 10+ year old Lexus or Honda... I would have had the same car!

Looks very nice on both light and dark color car, especially on MG, thanks for sharing. Black Line taillight would complement well with LCI-2 F80/F82 Competition dark front light.

Excellent effort for sourcing and installing these OP.

I'm trying really hard to like it, but it still does not appeal to me.

Some may like it, but IMHO it screams Lexus from behind...

Not my cup of tea. My car is white with blacked out everything and I thought these would look great but my eye is fixated on the red LED design inside the housing. It's distracting to me. Oddly attention grabbing.

can't compare them to Porsche lights. Those are solid clear/smoked, with no red inside.

The red inside the BMW lights, makes them look really cheap, same goes for those audi lights you posted, they look like ebay special also

I agree. It's the red part of it. The Audi ones aren't that bad. Those look better IMHO. lol

That's fair if you don't like the Audi ones either. The red strips never even occurred to me as a point of contention.

They look identical to the LCI lights at night.

Also, would bmw even be able to make them fully clear, legally? Would the strips be clear, but light up red at night (like the brake light)? I can understand it looking good in the day, but don't know how it would work at night...

The Porsche lights do still have the red.... https://www.google.com/search?q=pors...iw=375&bih=635

At the end of the day, I think they look incredible and high quality on my car, and I in no way regret the decision to put them in.

Dont take any of this personally, most people are just teasing. As long as you enjoy the lights that's all that matters. I think many of us, myself included, just dont like this style of light and think it cheapens the look of the car. You have cited numerous times that Porsche uses a similar style of tail light...I think they look terrible as well and would never order a Porsche with that option.

But anyway, driving home last night I realized these lights are virtually identical to the ones on the current Lexus GS.

People grasping at straws... the only similarity is a clear housing with a noticeable red portion somewhere. But they are no where close to those old school clear housing chrome lights

Now, the last post about the Lexus GS, pretty spot on. Either way I love the look and wish they were a no cost option at order here in the US.

Thats what I honestly think of as well. I would stick w OEM. Maybe younger drivers who didn't go through that awful trend.

5 pages of posts about tail lights . What a useless BMW driver's generation . No wonder BMW keeps releasing all these cosmetic special edition packages - it's what the kids want these days!

I agree they are similar to the Lexus lights (and the Audi ones). And I like the look (on all three specimens haha)

And maybe it is about being a younger driver, I honestly had to google "altezza" lights. I was definitely around when those were driving around, but I don't think I was driving/as involved in the car scene.

Damn they look fresh on the TB. The Germans does a better of job of executing these white line tail lights.
