What color wheels for a mineral gray M3?
I've owned white cars previous to this and it seemed easier to pick a wheel finish. For those of you that have a mineral gray M3 can you comment on what color wheels you think look best? If you have pictures please attach. Thanks in advance for any of your guys comments!

I am actually in the market for wheels as well and have yet to find a color I really like on Mineral Grey. I am a big fan of Apex wheels, but the race silver is just to bright on MG, and the Anthracite is to dark and I do not think black works on MG.
I originally had a 15' with the 18" "ferric grey" wheels and actually think they worked really well with the color. I currently have an 18' comp package car and I went with the "black" 666 wheels like in the pic above. I don't l mind the dark 666, but prefer the 513M in ferric. |

I had the black 666m version. Went with Signature brushed black. Almost matches the color of the car and looks very OEM w/ BMW center caps.

Sounds to me like brushed dark clear is just what you need. You can see more of this color on HRE's website, but remember that you can get any wheel refinished in this color. Good luck with decision!

Poiseuille - Thank you. I really love the look of brushed dark clear. Any other color car I wouldn't hesitate to get it. That top pic of the M3 looks nice. Brushed dark clear looks lighter in those pictures than in this pic: I like the lighter shade better. I think if it too dark it will match the Mineral Gray paint. |

I agree, last thing you want to do is match the MG paint. All you'd need then is to paint "Shore Patrol" on the door. Have you considered refinishing a used set? As you can see below, I've done that. The good news is the Powder Coat palette is very wide, you can get any color or shade of color you want

Because it's not a solid powdercoat, depending on the light situation it's going to change, which means it will never really ever match Mineral Grey which is good, I'd rather have a contrasting color. Last edited by HRE_Wheels; 08-24-2018 at 04:35 PM.. |

A set of Forged Titan7s in Satin Titanium Finish would look fantastic with Mineral Grey:

A set of 19" Signature SV107 in Brushed Black Triple Tint would look good on your car!
