Check with support but works flawless for me on my iPhone. Probably something on your phone

Ethernet settings for your iPhone/iPad (Optional if you'd like to set them, but it does connect to the car with these in place noticeably faster)
- IP: Manual (not automatic), 169.254.250.250
- Subnet Mask: 255.255.0.0

This app doesn't show on the TestFlight app anymore but I still have it as BM3 app. I wonder if it's still getting any updates? My app version seems to be 0.20.020. Any ideas? When I try to press on the link then it says that this app doesn't accept Beta testers anymore.

I'm beta testing and my app version is the same as yours so you should be able to connect with the proper adapter and cable.

The phone feature is now live. Delete your Beta version app, and then download the new version from the App Store. Use the static IP. Worked for me.

Just seems with android you have to do all these different configuration to your phone's settings and Iphone just seems straight to the point. But I do have the USB C to ethernet cable tho, and not the iphone version of that.

When mine is stuck I unplug the cable, close the app, reconnect the cable, and start the app. Usually works.

If on Android, start BM3 app first, login, plug in ethernet cable, wait 10 seconds or so and BM3 app will recognize the vehicle.

Make sure you have BM3 app set to mobile data usage. It's in settings, connections, mobile data. Select on and the app you want to force mobile data usage. Android by default turns off mobile data when it recognizes an ethernet connection so this must be done.

Are you guys getting your iOS connected to your BMW? My laptop is fine but my iPhone just would not connect. I’m at my wits’ end. I have 3 diff adapters and they all would not.

ONCE! It worked but halfway it disconnected.

I'm using iOS and a Kies Lighting to Ethernet adapter. I've had no issues in the past. BUT, during my last flash the other weekend it worked the first time no issues, I realized I didn't save the config so I had to refresh and it failed. Tried flashing multiple other times and it kept failing. I was getting frustrated because the car then won't start until a full flash, so I kept trying. On about the 6-7 attempt it finally completed.

Most the times I was holding the phone in my hand while flashing, but I eventually got out of the car, placed it on my car seat, got it connected, flashed and didn't touch the phone. Maybe my cable is getting a little flaky.
