Got my oem m performance front lip on and finally swapped my winters out for my summer 19" EC-7's. The 305 ad09 rears make the car feel so much faster than the drift mode winter tires!
Also installed some ebay caliper ///M repair stickers.

Installed Infinity CF intake, very nice system but two things to note. Thanks Mike @x-ph.
1. If you run a catch can, that right side inlet box will need some pushing/shoving to fit catch can/hoses as they come in contact with inlet box. Adjusted the catch can and it worked but tight. 2. MAF's location sit a little different than stock, driver side sits closer to air box and passenger side sits further back. Driver side connector needs to be rerouted thru IC cooling hoses and that's mentioned on install instructions. For the passenger MAF connector it does not, it has to be loosened from clip that attaches to the engine cover to reach sensor.

Took the boot spoiler off the other day
Originally added it to complete the carbon kit but just couldn’t live with how it ruined the lines of the M4 cab. No longer a fan of boot spoilers on cabs. |

Hi all, if anyone is interested in how a carbon ceramic (front) disc looks after 121,000 miles, here you go:
As you can see, these need to be weighed in order to determine whether they still have life left in them. Also the wear indicators (the 3 dots on the outer circle of the disc) were all still within spec. Note that the car has never seen a track and has mainly done highway miles (on very good Dutch highways), the most easygoing miles. |

Well I got the intercooler and J pipe in, fresh oil and coolant in the intercooler circuit. Running good up until the last pull, Had a new intake sound pop up and boost wasn't hitting as hard. Finally get home and see the CEL is on, checked the codes and all air related of course.
Looked over the new parts and nothing came off, MAFs were good as well. I finally check over on the turbo-charge pipe side and i see one pipe had popped off FROM the turbo. The bolt that holds the pipe down to the turbo had stripped completely out of the turbo, all the threads inside are gone lol Last edited by 1heckinboi; 05-13-2024 at 12:29 PM.. Reason: spellin' |
