I was honestly about one bad decision and eating rice and beans for a couple years away from buying one in early 2020 when it looked like everything was collapsing. Then by the time I realized what was really happening the prices went parabolic and I just forgot about it. Oh well!

Honestly the 991.2 is still going over but it isn't anywhere as close to as bad as the 992 GT cars but all of it seems to be coming down a bit.

But we know what will happen like always, something will happen that may pull the prices up again. Whether it is the styling or hybridization of the 992.2, something will pull the prices back up again ever so slightly.

It will yo-yo like that because anything NA from Porsche always tends to. Aside from the 991.1 GT3/GT3RS.

992.1 GT3RS are still going over but they are coming down a tad bit. I was told of a seller in Florida that went a bit overboard with the amount of GT3RS he bought and is now stuck with them lol. I overheard the conversation while picking up my 4RS. The dude is in DEEP hehe. Well not hehe but don't fucking buy outrageously over and expect to make a profit.

Saw this at the local Porsche dealer today. To me it’s just perfection, I think it’s the only car which I wouldn’t change a thing from in stock form. Everything just looks so perfect to me.

the other issue with gt car prices is they tend to all be tied to one another. the 991.2 will maintain a delta between 992 and 997 prices. the new car with the added ADM tends to lift up the previous models. along with other factors like incoming hybridization.

im hoping the 992.2 bumper is red herring, typical of porsche to make preproduction cars look bad. i can't see any function for them other than that they can close like a bmw grill and improve mpg.

by the way, has anyone managed to get MyPorsche app working correctly where it would show your car's status?

I am actually trying to get it to work with my 4RS, even after getting Porsche Connect connected to my car, the app isn't showing it. I'm curious if I actually have to do something I am not aware of.

Very early, 0:42. I have... yet to get this to work or show at all on my phone and I'm wondering why. Anyone have any ideas?

I saw them last year and I’ve seen mules running around here in SoCal. That bumper is very much the real thing. No thanks! I’m glad I purchased a 992.1, but I do like the all-digital dash of the 992.2.

The RS is a gem. I have realized that I have found it hard to go from a 992 C2S to a 991.2 GT3. If you guys remember, I alllllmmmooossstttt traded my car for a 2018 GT3 that my buddy had access to; I believe I posted photos. I just loved the wide body, updated tech, and overall presentation of the 992……

….and I really want a 992 GT3. If I had “fuck you” money I would have purchased it, but being that I can only afford to have one 911 in the garage, the 992 won….but barely.

I often have to jump between Porsche Connect and MyPorsche. MyPorsche can be buggy at times.

My Corolla developed a sputter on hard acceleration recently - I just eclipsed 90,000 miles on my 2021 - so now she’s at the dealership being disgnosed and repaired. The issue was very easy to recreate with the shop foreman in the passenger seat….thankfully. They provided me a loaner Toyota Crown hybrid (..see dash photo) for the next 3 days. They purchased an M4 and placed it in their showroom to wow customers I guess. I thought it was a trade-in at first, but that wasn’t the case.

Yep! Crown Toyota in Ontario, CA. Apparently they have a reconditioning facility that’ll buy cars and sell them. The shop foreman told me they had a 911 in there recently; I’m not sure what model year, however. It sold within 3 days.

This hybrid sucks; zero passing power the entire drive back to Nevada from California. Ughhhh! Rolling on and off the electric motor is sloppy and it feels powerless. My anemic Corolla feels more lively than this thing.
