In this video we're demoing an update for on the fly map switching where we've moved map switch controls to the steering wheel cruise buttons, and also the bootmod3 app in this case running on an iPhone 11 Pro. Status of the map is displayed on the dash cluster on the tach (RPM) gauge (1000rpm = map 1, 2000rpm = map2, 3000rpm = map3, 4000rpm = map4), as well as in the app on the new screen made for this purpose.

On the steering wheel, you activate it by pressing the Resume button, and switch among 4 map slots (expandable if needed at a future date) by using the up/down button that are typically used to increase/decrease speed when cruise control is active. OEM cruise control functionality remains in tact and map switching can be done with the engine off, on and while driving.

In the bootmod3 app, we've created a new screen to show current map slot and trigger on the fly map switching as well.

This video was done on our 2015 F80 M3 with the MEVD17.2.G DME and applies to all S55 engine vehicles. Support for these features is in progress for all other vehicle models bootmod3 supports today.

Would it be possible to use the up/down cruise control button to switch exhaust valve control between open/close/auto(default)?

Probably too late in the development stage and unless "BM3" already had
a valve control feature, of which I am unaware of(?), I seriously doubt it.

If you knew anything about bm3 guys the “2 weeks” thing is their own running joke dude because people are retarded with constant ETA questions. There are even youtube vids of the movie that was from LMFAO

Yeah I know that haha that's what I was implying when I said that. Dzenan said on Facebook that whenever someone asks him an eta he just replies with two weeks. I was basically saying that was the same response as his "2 weeks" one

Hey guys, we're nearing the release

If we were releasing one feature at a time you'd see them all right after each demo, and this is how we've typically done things in the past. In this case we're doing a full rollout of everything together including everything we've demoed so far, including:

1. Map Switching
2. Flex Fuel
3. Antilag
4. Fully Overhauled Tuning Editor

There are a few other features as well that we haven't demoed that are being released together and we'll write all of this up in the release announcement. There are others we're also working on but we'll be releasing those as we go not to hold this back any longer from everyone.

The way we've done everything for all of the above features mirrors factory logic and safeties and preserves them in place which can't be said for other solutions out there.

Going forward we'll stagger our releases so everyone can enjoy them as we finish with them
