Fully Built F80- British Racing Green
What's going on everyone. Yes the description for the most part is from Edin's original thread. He was a pleasure to work with and honestly thought I'd keep this car forever. Unfortunately, sometimes life has different plans and i'm had some things change on my end that will allow me to expand/grow my business, so for now the toys must go. I've owned the car since about January. Everything is pretty much the same with the car but just recently have noticed on occasion a little bit of smoke from the tailpipe. It doesn't happen all the time and doesn't happen upon start up or under boost so i'm fairly certain 1 of the turbo seals is starting to go. It doesn't loose any oil between changes and i've changed the oil 2x under my ownership to ensure that there are no issues. I am certainly going to regret selling as this car has the best of everything and no expense spared. Yes it may need a rebuild from Kratos (which would be under 2k) or you can swap out for PURES or whatever your heart desires. I'm happy to post videos on my end as well as additional interior pictures asap. Up for sale is my 2016 F80 M3 **Will upload some interior pics shortly, can't find any good ones on my phone I’ve had this car since April 2016 and it has been a blast. I’m sure a few of you know me from this forum (featured a few months back) and all that’s done to the car. No corners have been cut, all of the best parts have been used. Motor was built because cylinder 3 rod was bent. I’m posting it for sale because I am simply just ready to move on after 5 years. I am the 2nd owner (Carfax shows 3 because I transferred car from Indiana to Illinois. Was originally registered to my brother in Indiana to avoid front plate/tints) Vin : WBS8M9C51G5D30631 Mileage: Just under 72,000 (current mileage 73k) at the moment (engine, trans, suspension work done at 64,309 miles at EP3 Motorsports in St Charles IL) *****Carfax does show minor damage, car was hit at a gas station in August 2019, where bumper and wrap was damaged, wrap color was discontinued so whole car had to be rewrapped, have pictures and videos. All work was done by A&L Autobody in Palatine IL, owners of IND own A&L so work is top quality. The cons – I-drive occasionally gives a fault for cruise control malfunction, I haven’t looked into it much but cruise control works just fine. I-drive gives a fault for daytime lights due to harness that was installed with bayoptiks lights Have any pictures and videos upon request! I’m sure some misc mods have been missed but this is as far as I remember Mod list Performance: ESS charge pipes Eventuri V2 intakes Eurocharged catless downpipes AA Equal Length midpipe Dinan heat exchanger Mosselman oil thermostat BMS catch can EOS Charge Air Cooler EOS intake manifold ASR Engineering Kratos KRAS55Bi turbos ECUTEK tuned by Bend Calibration Bend Calibration fuel filter kit EU5 injectors DSS carbon fiber driveshaft DSS built upgraded axles SSP Spec X Package with Viton seals and gaskets Power flex Diff bushings Turner dual mount diff bracket MaxPSI Crank Hub with VTT CBC Built bottom end (Mahle forged stock CR pistons, Carillo connecting rods, ACL rod bearings, ARP head studs) LA Sleeves sleeved block Headgames valves, springs and retainers with outside work port and blending Bimmer MILVs (intake lift valves) Prometh Direct port meth system with Motiv ReFlex+ Brixton Forged RF7 20x9.5 20x11 wrapped in pilot sport 4s Steel studs TC Kline coilovers Bimmer world sway bar SPL front drop link Girodisc rotors front and rear Carbotech pads Inozotek Vintage racing green – done in August 2021 by d.two industries in IL Aeroflow dynamics side skirts RW Carbon DTM rear diffuser PSM Dynamic V2 decklid Bayoptiks Xenon Vision headlights GTS style tail lights Custom 1/1 steering wheel Custom NRD carbon engine cover IND DCT knob IND DCT surround IND parking brake IND arm rest CarPlay updated head-unit **64,500** takes this beast home Last edited by e904thewin; 09-12-2022 at 07:13 PM.. PSA:Car will be soon supporting precision raceworks 4.5 fuel kit along with ID 1050's as well as new turbos so price will be going up. should have jumped on this sooner but new setup will be good for over 1000. looking to get in the 800+whp range.

It doesn't happen on cold start or under boost so i'm positive it's not piston rings or Valve stem seals. To answer your question i'd rather fix it and finish the fuel setup from the original owner and enjoy it. If someone comes along and understands how much time and money has gone into the car and has a reasonable offer i'm happy to consider it. |
