Did you get the 55mm thicker PWR radiator? I have had mine turn up and no chance of it even fitting without modifying everything. Any tips on how you made yours fit?

Same as you, track focused car build here, would love for their thicker radiator to fit. |

Yes I did see it go into the GTS on Kies video, but they didnt say anything about fitment, so I figured it was a straight swap. Thanks for the heads up.

Nice, car looks great!
Question please as I might have missed it in your build sheet, can you please tell me about the carbon surround piece in your engine bay (right above the bumper, it's the CF piece you have which surrounds the hood latches/etc.)? I think that looks really nice. Thanks. |

You have two options, it's called the upper tie bar/radiator support, chose wisely. Slon or Dinmann.

Trying to get an idea of how tough that may be with the lack of access to under the car from the sides. |

I use the quick jack for everything, lowest setting is great for tires and engine bay/front bumper work, the highest setting is great for everything under the car. Lots of room to move around and get stuff done.
Honestly should have bought it sooner. |

small update before track day tomorrow.
I Had the DME unlocked and when I went to install it, we ran into major issues. at first I thought I had screwed something up, but after a few days of tracing and trouble shooting, we found that a mouse got into the car and cut through the wires going to the touch box by the FEM. Once that was fixed, the car started with zero codes ( started with 98 faults before the fix). flashed the car to stage 1 by BM3. PWR intercooler install, PWR rad installed (the one I have is a direct fit, not the 55mm version, I didnt realize there was a difference since there was only 1 option on the PWR/C&R page). AIM Solo and Smarty Cam installed, but was sent the wrong cable to connect the 2, so I am not sure I will have data overlay for this event (one was shipped but is MIA lol). finally was able to install fully install the GTmore Splitter, I was missing the front center cable point, and only 4 of the 6 bolts into the chassis. |

This thing is an absolute monster. And what surprises me more is your ease of obtaining the parts for this build. Every single part you’ve put on this thing is bonkers. I had an STI as well, and parts are so cheap for those cars compared to these lol also, did you find out the reason the car overheated at the track? Was it the CSF Intercooler?
