Supposed to be an O-Ring at the end of this "intake" tube?
Hey guys, while changing my spark plugs today, I removed this part and noticed there's no rubber where the plastic meets metal on the motor. is there supposed to be a rubber o-ring at the bottom of this intake tube? This would lead to extra unmeasured air, I'd assume..
I'm trying to find a reason for a misfire, my car was fine before I did a valve cover gasket and spark plug change. Figured it was bad plugs, problem resolved but came back. That tube is the turbo inlet pipe
#7 in this diagram https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/sho...diagId=13_1614 It looks like the o-ring is on the turbo (8th-9th pic): https://www.ebay.com/itm/33487732415...-53481-19255-0 |
