I actually got a seller of some nice white/black ones down to $8k shipped a few months back on Ebay. I just couldn't pull the trigger however as I don't think they would have looked correct with my CS interior. If they had been black, I'd be rocking them as they really are amazingly comfortable seats and just look fantastic. I think the price has gone up a bit since then however as I've heard rumors BMW is having difficulty producing the carbon seats for new cars now (might be wrong about that however).

Very nice $8k would be tough to pass up lol. There is a set of G80 carbon seats right now for sale for 10k so prices are stable at least for now. I've been super tempted to put a set in my F32 but putting 10k seats in a 40k car doesn't make a lot of sense.

I've reviewed sales on eBay and tbh there hasn't been a completed sale on a good set (there is a sold tab on ebay).

Set on ebay that sold for 10K was damaged out of wrecked car. There was a set of kyalami/black sold for 12k recently however that seller had questionable feedback. All of those were for G80 not G82 so more inconvenient for coupe/vert applications.

As NickyC mentioned, a few individuals on this forum brought awareness that some carbon seats are on back order this month. BMW doesn't sell these as an assembly but individual parts are and cost around 20K per bmwpartspros.com

Curious what these sell for myself, been running them in my M2C and they are dope!

They would come with I’m sure some sort of warranty
along with the guarantee that they’re going to even show up because you’re buying from a reputable company.
You don’t necessarily get that one buying from stranger, used, on a forum marketplace.

But anyway, man, I’m sorry I’m not here to shit on your thread or bring any sort of negativity…

On that note, hit me up if you are interested in offing them asap for a reasonable market price.

Well for 22k (plus applicable sales tax) is over 6k more than I'm asking not 2-3 mind you.

You will receive legos to put together, you break anything while putting it together warranty on individual parts wont do anything. Then question of fitment because its much easier to swap bad parts during assembly in Germany than in your own garage without backup parts. Also pray that their 6 week availability doesn't turn into 6 months if parts are on back order.

No negativity, just discussing how G82 buckets can be attained and price/hassle discussion new vs used.

PS: Wasn't easy getting regular comp seats to make this deal happen for myself either!

Looks great! Do you lose memory functions? If so has anyone found a work around? The seat memory controls in the G series cars are on the door vs F series on the seat base.

Good question, there are 3 ways to pull seat configuration. Seat buttons, idrive profile or key fob. I haven't tried but those two could still bring up that function.

I do know that when seats are folded they automatically retract forward to give rear access. Heated function works. Bolstering works. Trully an OEM+ upgrade on the Fxx cars
