Aftermarket AA/CP Nav screen install - feedback on 12.3" solution
After much nagging from the family that our F80 is the only pre-historic vehicle without an integrated AA/CP (Android Auto / Apply CarPlay) or a decently sized nav screen, I jumped into the world of aftermarket Multimedia Nav Systems. I ended up replacing my OEM 8.8" iDrive screen with a 12.3" Android touchscreen.
I month later, the only thing I can say is that I wish I had done this sooner. Below is a view from the driver side chin-level. At eye level, the top of the screen is flush with the edge of the hood and fender. https://photos.app.goo.gl/tunr8muwMK1JquM16 Below are the parts that came with the kit: https://photos.app.goo.gl/JvZ7Yik2KtK4dAA99 Key initial requirements:

More install details later. Feel free to ask here, or PM me, if you have any Qs. HTH, a P.S.: Link to the screen that I purchased and installed: https://avinusa.com/12-30-multimedia...2-f83-f84.html
