Hello! My name is Tyler, going to go back in time as well as update current mods to my 2018 M3. I always enjoy reading these, so I figured it would be cool to track mine in one place.

I sold my ‘18 M4 Competition (DCT, yas marina blue) car because it didn’t feel like a forever car. I knew I loved the f8x platform though. The thing that was missing was a manual transmission, and a cool color! Took me about 2 months of searching everywhere to find a 2018, individual, competition, manual transmission car.

Thanks to a close friend, he actually sent me a newly listed ‘special order color’ m3 while I was on vacation. As soon as I found out what it was, I immediately began the process of buying the car sight unseen.

It’s a 2018 M3, Laguna Seca Blue, Competition, Executive package, manual transmission car. Picked it up used with about 19,000 miles.

Finally had some time in June of 2023 to work on the exterior. We did PPF on the front bumper, headlights, hood, fenders, lower rockers, roof, and rear wheel impact. Also did paint correction and coated with Gtechniq Crystal Serum Ultra, Exo v5, and halo on the PPF.

I also installed some carbon pieces and Active Autowerkes exhaust tips.

Onto the exhaust, the s55 doesn’t sound the best, but I really am liking this setup.

Next I added a set of KW V3’s with EDC Delete. Favorite mod so far! Really changed the car for the better.
