CarPlay no longer works

Hey All - I have a 2019 M4 that had CarPlay installed from the factory. Worked flawlessly since new but I recently tried to code it to be full screen using BimmerCode. I checked beforehand that my firmware was compatible for coding full screen but CarPlay will not connect anymore after using BimmerCode.

I tried restoring my backup to undo the CarPlay full screen but nothing has worked.

Has this happened to anyone else?

Thanks

CarPlay no longer works

I had a similar issue with my '19 M4.
After trying to code full screen with BimmerCode, CarPlay just wouldn't connect.

Here's what worked for me: I did a full iDrive reset by holding down the volume button for about 20 seconds.

One more thing, make sure your iOS is up to date and try unpairing and re-pairing your phone.

If all else fails, you might need to get a firmware update from the dealer.

Hope this helps!

Be careful with firmware update from dealer. If you are tuned or plan to tune this will relock your DME and require a bench unlock!

Thanks guys!

Kubax got me all squared away!

I am stage 1 and just had my DME unlocked about two months ago so I am staying away from the dealer so that they don’t relock it haha
