Says staggered wheels...I wonder how the size, offset and bolt pattern compare to E92 M3s? I hate to have to buy new Morr wheels when I sell my M3 to get a new M4

A little down on torque (hoped for 400) very light, but electric steering is a bummer. I was hoping for hydraulic system. Well we'll see if we can live with electric setup. Tach looks like over 8000rpm but cut off probably at 7800. Not the best but ok.
BMW bring this beast out the shadow damn it!

From the dyno graph you can tell the approximate redline too!
Referencing from the E92 line and judging by the 2000 rpm scaling, it looks like redline for the S55 is around 7500 rpm. But then again power is constant from 5500 rpm and on as torque starts to dip significantly; so it won't give you the same pulling feeling of S65 all the way to redline which is understandable with turbos. But overall I'm very impressed, especially with weight. Kudos to BMW M!

The press release says "substantially more than 500 Nm" (369 lb ft)!

80 kg lighter than an E9X M3? Ok, I'm officially the first one disappointed in the weight. Above 3500 lbs US curb weight is a difference that will be hard to feel in comparison to the current car. Hopefully the strategic aspects of where the weight is removed will make every saved lbs worth two.

Did you guys notice the electronic valves on each side of the exhaust?
My 135i had this, but we modified it to stay open all the time

Anyone notice that the extended leather actually comes up on the dash now. You can see the stitches on two of the three cars. (random. I know no one gives a crap lol)

Only thing better than all of this would be if they brought back the dipstick (CFRP, of course... )
