[F80] Official BLACK SAPPHIRE F80 M3 Sedan Thread
I took couple of pictures. Sat in it, did not turn it on. The car had almost everything, except ceramic brakes and couple of other options ($91000+taxes). I remember UAE mentioning the doors feeling cheap. Not on this one, they sound great when closing.
Likes: Much nicer looking than the E90. Awesome stance Very nice interior LED lights are amazing (get them if you still can). Xenon are so passé. Very nice seats. Edit: The middle of the seat is perforated, forming a non-slip surface Full leather and contrast stitching looks great The CF brace is AWESOME Really liked the Idrive with a touch pad. Dislike (not much): Edit: Leather not as supple as in my Cayman or AMG The steering wheel is pretty fat and has finger indents all around The four piston brakes look like they belong on a motor bike The steering wheel is manually adjusted (hard to believe) Edit: There is no latch under the front of the hood (pretty neat) |

Thank you so much for posting these pictures. First clean pics of the SB with the lighter alloy wheel colors I have seen. Also, first SB with a sunroof.
This does two things for me: 1 - Makes me thankful I went with the lighter wheels 2 - Makes me thankful I chose the CF roof Great job. |

I have been waiting for this thread after seeing all the other official color ones. Thank you! I couldn't be more happy with my choice of BSM paint, full black leather, silver 19's, standard brakes, and MT among other things.

nice. that's the way I'm leaning (black, full black leather, MT), but if I'm not fortunate enough to place an order before the LCI, and they end up offering a nice blue option (San Marino... please, Interlagos, LeMans) with ZCP, I'll probably go that route. Looks so badass in black, and it's going to look even better with black kidneys.

thank you for posting the pics! I think they could use some cleanup though, seems like a lot of duplicates tossed in? Might just be my browser though

My exact build as well. First one I've seen on this forum other than mine. Was a bit worried it would be too black (especially w/heat in Texas), but I'm happy with the lighter wheels to change things up a bit. Enjoy!

Heads up! Black M3
I don't know how to link these here but there is a new series of black M3 photos surfacing in the general forum. A BSM at a Canadian dealer. It looks unbelievably menacing....the M3 just pulls off the bad a_s look so much better than M4.
I may have to switch back to BSM....again |
