Here's my F80 Sapphire Black on Black. I've picked it up back in October but just got to posting some pics.

Depends on the look you are going for, I've always liked the silver wheels on SMB because I'm not a fan of the "murdered" look. The body is dark and needs to be contrasted to really set it off, imo.

Right there with you. I like BSM, but give me the silver wheels too. I'd also combo it up with any interior other than black. SO, SS, Amaro, or Gold Brown would pair up wonderfully in my opinion.

I was on the same boat until I saw 2 M4s and 1 M3 all black on black on black and it did look nice.

You're over-thinking it. Both wheels look really good, but I think you made the right decision going with the black wheels. If the car was a little lower and had spacers, it would look perfect.

Took delivery of this F80 2016 build last weekend and these are the first pics of the car the next day. Car build in my sig. I had 35% window film done yesterday and will do a better photo shoot soon. Love this color and combo.

I'm about to finalize my decision to get my black sapphire f80, but one thing worries me... Does the black paint take away from the carbon fiber roof? I'm purposefully not getting a moonroof for the cf roof, but a little concerned that it might not even make a difference look wise (since it'll still look black). I mean i'll know its there and it'll make me happy knowing its there.. But moonroof... sigh

This is my DD and I didn't want any brave colors and couldn't do white. I m happy at the end. Se my car pics above and tell me do you really need that roof to stand out? Btw, feedback I got so far from people (non M people) was: "What is carbon fiber?" And "is this a vinyl wrap?"

Thank you for this. I really value personal input from actual owners. I was really just hesitant because honestly, pictures just don't do it justice.
