"Good news! I do need to clarify something with the exhaust options from Eisenmann as they just updated me this AM. There will be one system for the M3/M4 that is valved controlled using the OEM settings. Here is the final list of options from Eisenmann Germany. Now M3/M4 owners can have the best of both worlds (Sport and Race in one). " |

I was gone all day today, what did I miss? Looks like pricing was not listed yet. Maybe next week!

I'm sure any day now guys!
this may be a stupid question so excuse me if this is something I should know, but how does a aftermarket exhaust change the sound being pumped into the cabin? would that sound change (I would assume) or would it still be some sort of mix of real sound and synthetic sound? PS. My set up will be Eis axle back and resonated mid pipe Im sure its going to sound amazing

The consensus on the sound (including info directly from BMW) is that the ECU takes the engine RPM, throttle, gear, load, etc... and determines what the engine should sound like, and synthesizes that sound and pipes it in. So, changing the exhaust should not change the piped in sound.

I wonder if it the resonated version is designed specifically for the DCT to help with drone. My thought having a 6MT is to get non-resonated. I guess we'll have to wait for more information.
