I have not, I admit. Too late for me, as I have changed my order back to silver wheels after seeing the pics above.

I think that looks great! Black kidney grills would be better IMO

Exactly as I was too, SO or SS? My order started out with SO, after I finally saw nice pics of the SS, I changed. Then back again, then to back to SS for a last and final, it drove me nuts as well as my SA though he was very gracious throughout my indecisiveness. So I feel your pain, really I do...!
For what its worth, my SA really wanted me to go SO but in the end I needed to go with a color I could live with for a long time, not to mention SS with the blk rims would be a dream to keep clean. I did see a video of SO dirty and glad I made the switch. That and the fact I came from jet black(always in need of washing) for the last past 15 yrs, so I had had enough. Good luck with your choice, both are great colors, both are M specific but both give off completely different vibes so to speak, so chose wisely my friend.

My dealership just got a silverstone M4 - it still had a lot of its shipping materials. It is optioned with black marino, DCT, standard 'blue' brakes and the black wheels. In the sunlight (it was outside), of the pictures in this thread, the 'Istanbul' one above comes closest to how it looked. The sculpted creases along the sides are much more pronounced in this colour than the ones I've seen. The crests and badges pop out more too in a good way. Even though I personally do not prefer this colour it has a strange way of staying with you and making a greater impression on you after you look at it. It's haunting in a way. In all, this colour seems to me to be the most playful of the bunch in the sense that it has so many different looks to it and then makes you remember them. I think those of you who choose this colour are going to be quite pleased with your choice. You definitely won't bore of it easily.

Here you go. As an added bonus, I got to drive it. just around the parking lot mind you and barely out of first gear. But still. I liked the sound from outside. Even on start up. My impressions are few given the limitations. The driving position, shifter, pedals etc all fit me like a glove. The car was very light feeling and easy to drive. Around a parking lot anyway.

I think black is the way to go for sure. Look at the picture how the blacks tie in nicely with the tint, black trim around the window and of course the carbon fibre roof.
To me the more critical choice is the interior. While black works as usual, the somewhat washed out exterior demands something punchier - like a lighter coloured suit needing a more boldly coloured tie. I think you mentioned that you're going with the SO interior. In my opinion this is the best move to make with this colour and will make for a very synergistic combination.

Greg, we have to got to arrange a WA/OR M3/M4 meet up when our cars are here. Maybe somewhere in between Portland and Seattle. Will take a lot of pictures and do a lot of M talk.
